Rooted in the long-held vision of brothers Damon Turner and DT, Greetings From… was conceived as a bridge—connecting continents, cultures, and creative communities through intentional exchange.

In Johannesburg, Greetings From… has established an intimate creative hub: a living space for artists to engage in dialogue, collaboration, and cultural exchange. Throughout the activation, artists from across Africa and the diaspora gather daily to develop craft, build relationships, and collaborate across music, visual art, and cultural storytelling.

The hub remains active with ongoing music creation, including collaborations led by Grammy-nominated producer FKi 1st, alongside notable artists and cultural innovators.

From the relationships fostered within the Greetings From… house, two public events have emerged:

January 9 – A Night with Greetings From…

A public art and music exhibition featuring work by Johannesburg-based artists Monox (@monox_made_it), Maverick Seizure (@maverick.seizure), and TrueLeeder (@trueleeder).
The evening also includes floral installations by Frederick “Tree” Johnson and an intimate listening session drawn from Damon Turner’s musical archive.

January 15 – Greetings From… Untitled

A live multidisciplinary performance featuring the Free State’s Bondo, with headliner Damon Turner (@iamdamonturner), artistically directed by multi-award-winning theatre-maker Napo Masheane (@popomasheane).

This Johannesburg activation reflects Greetings From…’s commitment to building authentic global platforms where artists meet, exchange, and collectively shape what comes next. The movement begins in Johannesburg by design—setting the tone for a global journey rooted in care, culture, and collaboration.
